Tilt-deck loading for non-running equipment · Firm quotes · Licensed & insured, COI on request

Call around about moving a skid steer, hauling off a dead ride-on mower, or getting three tons of railroad ties out of a backyard, and you’ll hear the same thing from every junk removal company in Portland: “we can’t take that.” We can. All Oregon Junk Removal runs a MAXX-D 24-foot tilt-deck flatbed alongside our dump trailer fleet — real equipment for machinery, oversized loads, and the heavy stuff that doesn’t fit in a box truck.

We’re a family-owned Tigard company. The same crew that clears estates all week also loads equipment, hauls demo debris by the ton, and moves machinery across the metro — quoted straight from your photos and specs, priced firm before we hook up.

What the Tilt-Deck Handles

✓ Skid steers, mini excavators & compact tractors — local transport
✓ Non-running equipment — the deck tilts, so dead machines load anyway
✓ Ride-on mowers, shop machinery & welders
✓ Railroad ties, concrete, and other by-the-ton material
✓ Large demo loads — decks, sheds, outbuildings, hauled after teardown
✓ Farm, barn & shop cleanouts with the equipment included
✓ Equipment you bought or sold online and need moved across town
✓ Old machinery headed for scrap — metal-heavy loads can lower your price

How It Works

Step 1 — Photos and specs.
Text pictures plus whatever you know: make and model, rough weight, does it run, and where it sits. We quote firm from that — no mystery fees at pickup.
Step 2 — We load it.
Running equipment drives on. Dead equipment gets tilted, winched, or skidded on — that’s the whole point of the deck. Tight access is our specialty, not our excuse.
Step 3 — Moved, scrapped, or disposed.
Across-town transport, straight to the scrap yard, or proper disposal — your call. Metal-heavy loads headed for recycling can bring the price down.

Who Calls Us for This

Contractors moving equipment between jobsites or clearing a wrapped project. Homeowners and estates with a tractor, mower, or shop full of machinery nobody in the family wants. Shops and farms clearing dead iron that’s been taking up space for years. Buyers and sellers who found each other online and need the machine to actually change addresses. If it’s heavy, awkward, and nobody else will touch it — that’s the job we built the tilt-deck for. Professionals: see our commercial & trade accounts page.

Heavy Hauling FAQ

Can you move equipment that doesn’t run?
Yes — that’s exactly what a tilt-deck is for. The deck lowers to the ground and dead equipment gets winched or skidded aboard.

How is heavy hauling priced?
Per job, from your photos and specs — distance, weight, and loading conditions set the number, and it’s firm before we hook up. Heavy materials like concrete and railroad ties are priced by weight. See our pricing page for how we quote everything.

Are you insured for this?
Licensed and insured, with a COI emailed on request. Tell us what you’re moving and we’ll confirm it’s a fit before anything gets scheduled.

Do you buy old equipment?
No — we haul, transport, scrap, and dispose. But if your old machine is mostly metal, the scrap value can offset part of your hauling cost. Send photos and ask.

How far will you take it?
We work the Portland metro and Willamette Valley — across-town moves, farm-to-farm, jobsite-to-jobsite, or straight to the scrap yard or dump.

Can you tear it down first?
Light demolition, yes — decks, sheds, and outbuildings come down and leave on the same trailer. Structural demolition we leave to the excavator crews, then haul what they drop.
