Skip the steel roll-off. Get a driveway-friendly dump trailer — or a crew that loads everything so you never lift a thing.
No street permit hassles · No scratched driveway · No overage-fee surprises
If you’ve been searching for a dumpster rental in Portland, here’s what the roll-off companies don’t lead with: the steel box sits on your driveway or needs a street permit, you do a week of heavy lifting, and the quoted price grows with delivery fees, rental days, dump fees, and overage charges. There are two easier ways to get the same junk gone — and we do both.
Point at the pile and we make it disappear — loading, hauling, sorting, donating, recycling, and disposal, usually the same week and often the same day. For most homeowners this ends up easier and often comparable in cost to renting a dumpster once dump fees and your weekend are counted.
$150 minimum pick-up · loads from $240 · firm quote from photos. See pricing.
Want to load at your own pace? We drop a dump trailer in your driveway, you fill it on your schedule, and we haul it away — dump run included. Rubber tires and a low deck instead of a steel box: kind to driveways, easy to load over the side, and no street permit needed when it sits on your property.
Rentals run through our partner company, Roadside Trailer Rentals — owned by Austin Prunty, co-owner here. These trailers are serious equipment, so every rental starts with a quick call: your project, the right trailer, dates, and the rate. Call or text Austin at (971) 396-6130.
Both trailers hydraulically dump — no shoveling anything twice. Delivery, pickup, and the dump run are part of the arrangement; heavy materials (concrete, dirt, roofing) are handled by weight.

Is this really cheaper than renting a dumpster?
Often, yes — once delivery, rental days, dump fees, and overage charges land, typical Portland roll-off rentals commonly reach several hundred dollars before you’ve lifted a finger. Our full-service loads start at $240 with a $150 minimum pick-up, loading included, and donations lower the price. Text photos and compare the firm quote yourself.
Do I need a permit for the trailer?
Not when it’s parked on your own driveway or property. Roll-off dumpsters placed on the street typically require a city permit — one more headache our trailer skips.
How do I rent the trailer, and what does it cost?
Rentals are arranged by phone, not online. Trailer rentals run through Roadside Trailer Rentals — Austin Prunty, our co-owner, handles every rental personally. The trailer is the tool this family business runs on, so we do our due diligence: one quick call covers your project, which trailer fits it, dates, delivery, and the rate. Call or text Austin at (971) 396-6130.
How long can I keep the trailer?
Tell us your project timeline and we’ll set the rental around it — most projects fit a few days to a week.
What can’t go in the trailer?
No wet paint sloshing around or loose hazardous liquids in the rental — but unlike dumpster companies, we accept e-waste, paint, and household chemicals through our full-service pickup. Ask when you book and we’ll handle it the right way.
What sizes are the trailers?
A 6×12 with 4-foot sides and a 7×14 with 3-foot sides — each roughly the capacity of a 10-yard roll-off, with 5,000 and 7,000-lb capacities. Both dump hydraulically.
Can you just take everything instead?
That’s our favorite question. Yes — same-day and same-week full-service pickups across the metro. Text photos of the pile to (503) 455-7920 for a firm quote.
